Liam is so sick and tired of all the hearts and flowers shit every Valentine’s Day. The build-up to the day…irritating, the actual event…torture. Just for once, he would love to get away from the whole experience. Fate on the other hand has a very sarcastic approach to his plea. An accident at the Heavenly bookkeeping department sees Liam enlisted into the ranks of Creating Unlimited Possibilities Into Destiny…or CUPID for short.
Unable to get a single person to listen to his protests—and teamed with a guy who might actually be cute if he just stopped acting like a kid—he is told to choose his method for deliverance of his love. Liam lets his pissed off attitude choose for him, and revenge on the other cupids becomes his only mission.
This Valentine’s Day, Liam is hunting them down.

The Big Guy somehow made a mistake and the grumpy human Liam has been recruited to help out as a cupid on Valentine's Day. He's far from agreeable about much of anything, other than his "initiation" to training (which I won't elaborate on because I don't want to spoil this for you). But when he's partnered up with the delicious Ethan - to hit sprinkled golf balls at people to make them fall in love - this man who's rarely experienced any nurturing during his life starts feeling tender emotions for the first time.Funny dialogue and hilarious scenes are interspersed with highly erotic sex scenes. Male/male romance is not usually my genre of choice, but I've really enjoyed all of Ellen Cross's books so far and so I really wanted to check it out. I'm glad I did - she crafts sex scenes well and just knows how to entertain her audience.

When he is given a partner, the delectable, affectionate Ethan, Liam finds himself feeling his emotional vulnerability for the first time. Enter Lillah, the spunky and brutally honest angle who gives Liam a run for his money. Between Lillah's candid honesty and Ethan's ever-flowing affection, Liam has no choice but to bow. I loved this book. It had the perfect balance of humor, hot, erotic mating and a deeper message that rises to the surface at just the right time. Thank you Ms. Cross for a wonderfully entertaining read. This is my first with you on my IPad, but it won't be the last. Justine
